AGE Y☮UR WAY, puts YOU , the senior , in the driver’s seat. YOU pick a volunteer for weekly companionship visits. We bring conversation, laughter, and connection right into your home so you can age in place with dignity and joy.
The Age Y☮ur Way Safety Commitment
Loneliness is an epidemic, but safety always comes first.
Before a volunteer ever enters a senior's home, they complete a formal screening and training process, including a mandatory Vulnerable Sector Check under Alberta standards.
We believe:
- Trust must be earned
- Boundaries must be respected
- Seniors must be protected
Community only works when it is built on safety.

At Age Y☮ur Way, the safety and dignity of every senior comes first.
We believe meaningful connection should always happen in a safe, respectful, and trusted environment. Every volunteer in our program is carefully screened and agrees to follow our safety standards before being matched with a senior.
Our goal is simple:
Create genuine companionship while protecting the well-being of the seniors we serve.
We have three layers of screening:
- Application + interview
- Reference checks
- Vulnerable Sector Check

✔ Seniors are always in control of their participation
✔ Safety concerns are taken seriously and addressed immediately
